Krysta Hoyer is the daughter of a wounded U.S. Air Force Veteran. She and her two siblings were instrumental helpers as their mom became a caregiver for their father after his combat injuries following his sixth deployment.
Krysta has since completed her BA in Fine Arts at the University of WI – River Falls. Her passions are photography and acrylic painting, as well as pottery and sculpture. Her work has been featured in exhibitions on her college campus, at Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI, and at local school district programs. Krysta is currently working with special needs students and pursuing a Masters Degree in school counseling.
Knowing first hand the value of art in healing, Krysta has taught art in summer programming and incorporates art with her current student work. Krysta continues to enjoy the creative process from her home art studio where she lives with her husband and two dogs in Roberts, WI.
